• You have to be quick in responding your customers when they approach. The first step you should remember is good customer service is giving a quick and immediate reaction. Meaning you have to be respectful and you should use the proper words when you are having a conversation or when the customer is inquiring for something.

• Eye to eye contact should be maintained between you and the customer. If ever the customer is over the phone, use the customer's name appropriately. In this way they will be to know that you are giving a good service by entertaining them, only them. Give due respect.

• When the customer is inquiring you have to listen to you customer's question, comments and concerns. You have to listen every word so that you will not be able to forget everything that they were saying. One thing you should put in mind, never interrupt your customer. Another thing is that customers are always right.

• Make your customer happy and if possible make them smile. Good customer service is not only talking about the customer, remember that you are interacting.

• You should follow-up the necessary things your customer is waiting or you should give proper instructions and see if their concerns were resolved. Regarding their questions answer it clearly because some customers are senior citizens.

Having a good customer service will give a big impact to the name of the company... good customer service will be the first impression that a customer will give regarding the performance of the agent. The truth is that customer service is not about practicalities, it’s about principles. If you are customer service representative you should consider practicality but do not renew the principles.
